Pudding Cake


1 1/4c.Flour
3/4c.Sugar
2tsp.Baking Powder
1/4tsp.Salt
1/4c.Cocoa
3Tbsp.Butter
1/2c.Milk
1tsp.Vanilla
1/2c.Nuts — Chopped (optional)
2Tbsp.Cocoa
1/2c.Brown Sugar
1/2c.Sugar
1c.Boiling Water

1.Mix together the Flour, 3/4 c. Sugar, Baking Powder, Salt and 1/4 c. Cocoa.
2.Add in the Butter, Milk, Vanilla and optional Nuts.
3.Mix Evenly.
4.Heat the oven to 350°
5.Press into a greased and floured, 8X8 inch pan.
6.In a different bowl, sift together 2 Tbsp. Cocoa, Brown Sugar, 1/2 c. Sugar.
7.Add boiling water and stir until thoroughly dissolved.
8.Pour over top of the batter in the pan. Do not stir it in.
9.Bake for 45 - 50 minutes.
