Chicken Cordon Bleu


4-6Chicken Breast Halves — skinless
4-6slice(s)Ham
4-6slice(s)Swiss Cheese
1/2c.Seasoned Bread Crumbs
1Egg — beaten
1/4c.Parmesan Cheese — grated (optional)

1.Preheat oven to 350°.
2.Put chicken breasts between plastic wrap and pound thin.
3.Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each chicken breast and roll up; secure with toothpicks.
4.Combine bread crumbs with Parmesan cheese.
5.Dip chicken rolls in beaten egg and roll in seasoned bread crumbs to coat. Brown in a small amount of oil.
6.Transfer to a baking pan and bake 20 to 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
