Simple, Healthy Pancakes


1c.whole wheat flour
1/2tsp.baking powder
1egg
1c.milk
1pinch(es)salt — optional

1.Mix all ingredients until moistened (do not over-mix).
2.Pour onto a hot griddle or flying pans.
3.Cook until browned on each side.

Variation 1 - whole wheat waffles: add 1/4 c. oil and 1/4 c. less milk.
Variation 2 - sweeter pancakes/waffles: add 1/4 or more sugar.
