Random Trivia For This Title:

  • Don Knotts and Maggie Peterson both wore the same dress in the episode {Mountain Wedding}. According to Peterson, it fit both of them perfectly.
  • Due to a clerical error in the 1960's, these episodes of [The Andy Griffith Show] have had their copyright expired and these 16 episodes are now in the public domain. The theme song, however, is still under copyright.
  • {Barny's First Car} is the all-time favorite episode of Andy Griffith.
  • The character name of "Helen Crump" on [The Andy Griffith Show] was supposed to be a one-shot. That is why they picked an unpleasant sounding name, for her character. But the producers were so impressed with Aneta Corsaut's performance and her rapport with Andy Griffith, this made her a regular cast member, for the remainder, of the show.
  • In two different scenes in the episode {The Great Filling Station Robbery}, when Andy is walking into the courthouse, it's obvious the patrol car outside is a cardboard cutout of the police car.
