1. | Preheat oven to 400 degrees. |
2. | Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, set aside. |
3. | Spread one side of bread slices with 2 tbsp butter. |
4. | Place onto lined baking sheet buttered side up. |
5. | Bake for 8 minutes or until edges are slightly browned then cool slightly. |
6. | In small bowl combine 1 tbsp butter, gorgonzola, and green onion and mix well. |
7. | Turn cooled bread over (buttered side down) and spread with cheese mixture. |
8. | Sprinkle with tomatoes and bake for 6 minutes or until cheese is slightly melted. |
9. | Sprinkle with parsley and serve warm. |
