60 Minute Rolls


1c.warm water
1egg — beaten
1/4c.sugar
1/3c.shortening
1tsp.salt
3 1/2c.flour
2Tbsp.yeast

1.Dissolve and activate the yeast in the warm water.
2.Mix remaining ingredients and knead well until smooth.
3.Form into rolls; let rise until doubled.
4.Bake at 350 for 12 - 15 mistakes.

Yields 2 - 2 2/1 dozen
