Synopsis: A law student uncovers a conspiracy, putting herself and others in danger.

Reaction: Very deliberate. Very quiet. Lots of talking. The story is okay, but it really takes a while to move from A to B at times.

  • The two main stars, Julia Roberts and Denzel Washington, do not appear on screen together until an hour and 5 minutes into the movie.
  • For the scenes inside the White House, the sets created for Dave were used.

  • The President questions Cole's idea of addressing the nation while wearing a cardigan sweater; this is based on a real-life incident in which then-president [?] Jimmy Carter addressed the nation in a cardigan during the height of the fuel shortages in the 1970s.
