Synopsis: Paul Atreides arrives at planet Arrakis with his father to take over spice production. He is immediately caught up in a sordid tale of intrigue and betrayal, eventually emerging as the Fremmen messiah.
Reaction: Not for everyone. It can be hard to follow if you haven't read the book. But even so, there are aspects that simply don't work for me. It's a classic, but not a great one.
Personal Rating: 4/10
